Online via Zoom
Presented by:
Barry Posner, President

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Howell’s impact on medical billing and the lien process related to medical damages in personal injury cases. Specifically, participants will understand
- How the Howell v. Hamilton Meats Co. decision limits past but not future medical expenses;
- How the ‘Howell’ charts are used in determining the amounts due for past medical expenses and the cautions in applying the same principles to future medical expenses; and
- The management and recovery processes used by experienced companies such as Rawlings for subrogation and lien resolution.
Questions are strongly encouraged to help guide our discussion.
